Christine Cassel, MD is senior advisor on strategy and policy for the Department of Medicine at the University of California at San Francisco. Previously she was Planning Dean of the Kaiser Permanente School of Medicine and served on the Board of the Kaiser Foundation Health Plan and Hospitals. She has been a leader in geriatric medicine, biomedical ethics and quality of care.
