“Wellsheet is integrated directly into the EHR and delivers a thoughtful redesign of workflows designed with doctors in mind to ensure that each clinician is able to quickly and easily extract customized, actionable patient data, receive immediate alerts, and make quality-based treatment decisions” said Dr. John Glaser, Wellsheet Advisory Board Member. “The response from clinicians to Wellsheet is game-changing as the need to reduce the EHR burden on physicians has become a top priority for healthcare providers.”

“Physician burnout is a national epidemic, according to a recent report of the National Academy of Medicine which concluded that up to one half of doctors and nurses experience symptoms of burnout. 1,2 Other research3 of almost 9,000 physicians found that ‘poor EHR user design and inadequate EHR interoperability’ now surpass arguing with insurance companies as the top frustration identified by physicians,” said Dr. Christine Cassel, Wellsheet Advisory Board Member. “Wellsheet reduces time in the EHR, and it’s exciting to see the results healthcare providers are experiencing today and to await the long term impact it will have on overall clinician well-being and patient care.” View a video of Dr. Cassel addressing Physician Burnout here.

“While healthcare providers have long focused on reducing costs, increasing quality, and improving the patient experience, they are now facing an epidemic of ‘physician burnout,’ impacting the quality of patient care, and realize they must include clinician well-being among their top initiatives,” said Craig Limoli, CEO and founder of Wellsheet. “We are honored to have true industry experts like Dr. John Glaser and Dr. Christine Cassel share their tremendous knowledge and experience with our team as we deploy Wellsheet across healthcare providers.
